The one with a perverse heart finds no good, and he whose tongue is deceitful falls into trouble.
Pro 17:20 20 He that is of a false heart findeth no good; And he that goeth astray with his tongue falleth into evil. Regarding עקּשׁ־לב, vid., Pro 11:20. In the parallel member, נהפּך בּלשׁונו is he who twists or winds (vid., at Pro 2:12) with his tongue, going about concealing and falsifying the truth.

Framing ill designs will be of no advantage to us; there is nothing got by them: He that has a froward heart, that sows discord and is full of resentment, cannot promise himself to get by it sufficient to counterbalance the loss of his repose and reputation, nor can he take any rational satisfaction in it; he finds no good. 2.
