The Lord laughs at those who mock sin and make sport of religion and the Gospel, holding them in derision; the proud and arrogant who exalt themselves He abhors and opposes as His enemy. But to the humble, truly sensible of their own sin and insufficiency, who submit to Christ's righteousness and ascribe all to His free grace, He gives grace abundantly.
