Malachi
Malachi 2:17KJV·traditional attribution

Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?

This is spoken after the manner of men; God properly cannot grow weary. But these people spoke words displeasing and provoking to Him that He could not endure to hear. They concluded from the prosperity of the wicked that God delights in evildoers and cares nothing for His people, murmuring against His providence as if He favored the ungodly.
