Then said he unto me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the trespass offering and the sin offering, where they shall bake the meat offering; that they bear them not out into the utter court, to sanctify the people.

The Lord keeps a plentiful table, so He needs large kitchens; wise builders provide what serves His purposes, and waste ground is a pity on holy land. The priests must boil the most sacred offerings in these courts away from the people, lest ignorant folk imagine that touching holy flesh makes them acceptable to God, ministers must guard against bolstering superstition.
