God ordered a double covering to keep rain from spoiling the fine inner curtains, the outer rough and coarse, the inner all beauty and glory. So it must be with those who dwell in Him: labor to be better within than you appear without. The world sees black tents of Kedar, but God sees the curtains of Solomon. Providence always shields the beauty of holiness.
