Ezra
1 Chronicles 16:43ESV·traditional attribution

Then all the people departed each to his house, and David went home to bless his household.

Matthew Henry Presbyterian

The worship of God is not only to be the work of a solemn day now and then, brought in to grace a triumph; but it ought to be the work of every day. David therefore settles it here for a constancy, puts it into a method, which he obliged those that officiated to observe in their respective posts.

Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Reformed

David composed this hymn for the inauguration and now publicly commits it to Asaph and his assistants as they enter their sacred duties. Compiled from his other psalms, it abounds with praise for God's glorious character and marvellous works, touching on the origin and destiny of the chosen people, exactly fitted to animate the devotion of the assembled multitude.
